The Salvation Army of Marion and Polk Counties offers assistance to those in need through a variety of outreach efforts both in and outside of The Salvation Army Kroc Center. Additionally, The Salvation Army offers a variety of programs, services and assistance both nationally and globally that you may qualify for. If you or your family are in need of food boxes, shelter, or even if you're just looking for scholarships to The Kroc, you're in the right place.
It is important to us at The Salvation Army Kroc Center that everyone, no matter their income level or social status, be able to attend and benefit from the life-changing opportunities available at The Kroc.
Through our Kroc Member Scholarship Program, we offer help to individuals and families who would like to become a member but may need financial assistance.

During their stay, residents have access to three meals a day, laundry facilities, showers, and a warm bed.
Each resident works closely with a case manager who connects them with a community resources and helps combat barriers to self-sufficiency.

The Salvation Army provides children and families in the Salem-Keizer area with a Christmas dinner and gifts. Salem-Keizer families may apply to receive toys and a Christmas food box. This program serves families in need who have children in the home ages 0–12.

Each year, The Salvation Army helps children in Marion & Polk Counties start the school year with the right tools for success! You can donate basic supplies or monetary donations at the Kroc Center or at our Front Street location (1977 Front St. NE, Salem OR)
Back to school supplies distributed to families all over Marion and Polk Counties! Students are pre-selected by partnering agencies.
