When you make any gift—money, time, or energy—to the Salem Kroc Center, you become a part of the largest project ever undertaken by The Salvation Army. Your gift becomes grounded in the reputation, trust and credibility of The Salvation Army—which is well known for its continuing efforts of providing relief to those in need.
Every life deserves to shine. No one
in need is turned away from the life- changing opportunities at The Salvation Army Kroc Center through the Kroc Scholarship Program. With an average of 1,500 individuals on scholarship, this is by far The Kroc Center’s largest outreach and single greatest need for community support.
Whether it is keeping the lights on, feeding a hungry family or making sure basic needs are met, The Salvation Army is working to help our local struggling families.
With planned giving, you can provide long-lasting support for local Salvation Army programs, while enjoying financial benefits for yourself.
Volunteering is one of the most enjoyable things you’ll ever do. Not to mention one of the most fulfilling. Kroc volunteers are held to the same standards as our employees including application, background check, Child Safety training, and orientation.
The Salvation Army of Marion and Polk Counties aims to meet people in their place of need physically, mentally, and spiritually without discrimination. The Lighthouse Shelter provides the opportunity for a safe and comfort- able place for residents to get back on their feet.
