ANNUAL MAINTENANCE & GYM CLOSURE
August 31 - September 4: The Kroc Center will be closed for annual maintenance, deep cleaning, facility improvements, and staff training. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on September 5 as we transition into our Fall season hours.
September 5th-10th: The Gymnasium and Group EX room will be closed.

Welcome to The Kroc Center, a Place for Everyone.
The Salvation Army Kroc Center is the only community center of its kind in Salem. It's a place where people young and old have opportunities to learn and grow, to build dreams and friendships, and to find hope in a safe, warm and welcoming environment. With over six different venues, and classes focusing on health and wellness, aquatics, sports, fitness, the arts, child development, science and education, youth leadership, and so much more, The Kroc Center has something for everyone.
Features available to Kroc Center members:
- Aquatic Center: Leisure Pool, Competition Pool, Wading River, and Lighthouse Slide
- Fitness & Wellness Center including Cardio Fitness Machines and Free Weights
- NBA Size Gym for Basketball, Pickleball, Volleyball, and Youth Sports
- Rock Climbing on our 33' rock wall
- Group Exercise Classes (Zumba®, Cycling, Yoga, Water Aerobics, and more)
- Day Camps all Summer long, plus school breaks during the year
- REBOUND Teen Programs
- Common Areas like the Kroc Cafe, Fireside Lobby, and Birthday and Conference Event Rentals

August Newsletter
August is packed with opportunities to connect, serve, and make the most of the final weeks of summer at the Kroc!
We're celebrating National Back-to-School Month with our End of Summer Camp Sale, Stuff the Bus school supply drive, Backpack Distribution event, upcoming fall program registration, and an exciting new member benefit. We're also preparing for our annual Media Day, maintenance closure and looking ahead to one of our biggest community events of the year, Family Fair!
